Multi named 6600m high mountain, Sumeru in Sanskrit or Kailash in Hindi or Kang Rimpoche in Tibetan, in western Tibet is considered as "Navel of the universe". The holy mountain is located near the headwaters of the Indus , Sutlej , Karnali and Brahmaputra rivers, which radiate away from the region in the four cardinal directions.
